Ingmar Bergman explores life, death, faith, and the existence of God in this masterpiece of world cinema. Brilliantly conceived and stunningly executed - this film contains images that are so powerful that they stick in the memory for ever. Bergman died this year (2007) but he will be remembered for his powerful, sensitive films. The Seventh Seal is arguably his greatest film. A masterpiece.
